Description

This is a moment, and also almost a snapshot, in the sense that while I had decided to photograph the seagulls walking gingerly and slipping on the ice, I wasn't having much success getting anything resembling an interesting photo. Then, this seagull jumped up and landed just a few feet away and I spontaneously decided to try catch the landing. I think we both nailed the landing!
