My Monarch Park study from the same spot, of the same image, during different seasons and conditions brought back on a late November morning. Fog is more common in the spring, but this day featured the most dense fog I've seen in Monarch Park. The blanket of leaves in the foreground added a little colour to an otherwise fairly monochromatic, almost grayscale scene.

Many things catch my eye, including nature, landscapes, cityscapes, abstracts and people, but my favourite discoveries are often moments. As I walk, I keep my camera ready, adjusting settings as I go for changing light conditions, or in anticipation of a moment unfolding ahead of me. These moments can be fleeting and I like to be ready when they are.
