I've enjoyed visiting Mono Cliffs on a couple of occasions, in the fall, to take in the fall colours and fresh air. This photo was a simple, quick snapshot. I just stopped walking as I recognized the shot, took the photo and kept walking. There were probably other less obvious shots to be found in the area, but I was in a hurry to get out of the park before dark!
Mono Cliffs Provincial Park lies within the rural town of Mono, in southern-Ontario, Canada, along the Bruce Trail. It is part of the Niagara Escarpment Parks System, and the escarpment Biosphere Reserve.
Full-time marketing & business development consultant, part-time photographer, lifetime lover of photography. I love to explore. Whether I'm exploring the world or in and around Toronto, I like to explore with my camera. Many things catch my eye, including nature, landscapes, cityscapes, abstracts and people, but my favourite discoveries are often moments. As I walk, I keep my camera ready, adjusting settings as I go for changing light conditions, or in anticipation of a moment unfolding ahead of me. These moments can be fleeting and I like to be ready when they are.
