Whether natural or man made, I'm often drawn to lines, patterns, shapes and reflections. This image of the east facing side of 77 Bloor Street West, a 20 storey office tower in central Toronto at the corner of Bay Street, contains these features which I enhanced with additional contrast in post-processing.

Many things catch my eye, including nature, landscapes, cityscapes, abstracts and people, but my favourite discoveries are often moments. As I walk, I keep my camera ready, adjusting settings as I go for changing light conditions, or in anticipation of a moment unfolding ahead of me. These moments can be fleeting and I like to be ready when they are.
